R.I.P. O'Brian Eselu

Kumu hula and musician O'Brian Eselu has died, an employee of Paradise Cove has confirmed.
Eselu worked as entertainment director for Paradise Cove Luau at Ko Olina.
At the 2000 Merrie Monarch hula festival in Hilo, Eselu's male halau, Ke Kai O Kahiki, took first place in male hula kahiko and second in male hula auana,' the Paradise Cove website says.
He also released the CDs "Aloha e aloha e aloha e" and "Maka."
I have spoken to him many times over many years. Such a nice man. He will be sorely missed by many.
