  • Thanks!

    Thanks for access to your board!

    I registered while I was in Honolulu three weeks ago. I was there working. Enjoyed Oahu. Some of the friendliest people I've ever met anywhere. I'll probably be back sometime soon.

    About me;

    I'm Terry, from Coppell, TX. I've worked mostly in aviation for over 30 years. It's taken me around the world.

    You all are some very fine people.

    Next time I come to Oahu, hope to meet some guitar players, and ham radio operators.

    Bye for now.

    Aloha, Terry! You're a ham? I know many here, including WH7GG and KH6DAD (who even posted here on HT once upon a time), and am getting tutored by AH6RH in the hopes of getting my first license this summer.

      Welcome to HT, Terry. Be sure to let us know the next time you are headed to Hawai`i - even though I'm not there, I can put you in touch with many slack key guitarists (if that's what interests you), and there are several kanikapila (jam) sessions that you could visit and participate in.

        Awesome! The tests are easy with a little study.

        My call is KU5Q. I work mostly CW these days, but I'll use voice if someone asks me to meet them on the air.

        Hope to meet up with you all next time I come to Honolulu.

        Thanks for reply.

          I will do that!

          My info is public, I don't mind giving it out.

                Aloha, Terry ~ glad that you enjoyed the isles. Lived in the Dallas area several times. You fly? My in-laws in Big D have several planes.

                    Yes, not often. Sometimes I fly right seat on check flight evaluations. Thanks for asking.
