  • RIP Andy Ganigan

I was fortunate to have met and worked with Andy at Oahu Sugar Company one summer in 1976. Andy was truly a quiet and humble leader. He was a top notch boxer but you would never know that by talking/hanging out with him. We have lost a true superstar, by all definitions of the word.

Rest in Peace my friend. You will be missed but not forgotten. To the Ganigan ohana, my thoughts and prayers go out to you during this difficult time.
Whoa, Mista Buss Driva, eh, you can stop the buss o wat?

He was a great fighter. I really thought he had a chance against Alexis Arguello, and he'd have been counted among the greats in his class if he had. Arguello was too much, but he was too much for a lot of good fighters. I'll always remember Ganigan fondly.
But I'm disturbed! I'm depressed! I'm inadequate! I GOT IT ALL! (George Costanza)

He gave us good times, and is another who's gone too early. RIP
