Getting caught in the rain

A large portion of the enjoyment of food comes via the nose.
Entering an eatery with a rumbling stomach makes the nose even more alert.
The evocative smell of french fries can be very seductive.

The large amounts of fat,grease and triglycerides make these foods energy dense,
but over the long haul damaging to health.
I end this message wondering why
McDonalds does not have Onion rings. ?

Once , long ago, I was driving along the coast from Hawi to points south.

Getting hungry, I spotted a nice road side snackateria selling malasadas.

(oh so good)

After ordering , a super size bag of those treats were issued in a giant bag.

An old Woman asked for some and when I looked in the bag there were 3

full orders of the scrumptious delicacies.

I handed her a bag of the treats and climbed back into my vehicle.

Upon leaving I saw a beautiful young Wahine in the rear view mirror.

Her hair looked like fire.

I thnink I remember the Hula Burger didn't last long. It was a Turner invention (I think), that replaced the beef patty with a slice of pineapple.

Didn't sell.

I've always thought it might have worked better to have ADDED a slice of pineapple to the burger. Meat included.

And why not bacon, too, while we're at it?
