Re: Hitler, now not just for Nazi's
Came across this story on my facebook page. First off....HOW OFFENSIVE! The owner of the shop claims he just learned about who and what the other "Hitler" was from what I read in the other link. Almost everyone is aware of who Hitler was and the destruction that changed the lives of a handfull of Jewish Families. On the flip side the owner used the name was in honor of a relatives middle name? Wow I would hate that if my parents used it. And the logo fronting the shop has a SWASTIKA. I have been told that the symbol has a positive meaning behind it. But still you could tell me 101 reasons but what the symbol represents just leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Re: Hitler, now not just for Nazi's
After the second World War the swastika was adopted by the Hell's Angels (WWII Veterans at first) as a kind of anti-social statement.
Other 'outlaw' biker "clubs" (1%ers) such as the Outlaws, the Iron Cross, Iron Horsemen, etc., also adopted the symbol as a way of rejecting the 'status quo.' They did not accept the common view of society, and 'dropped out.' They used the swastika as a way of alienating non-participants.
Some groups were racist, but most were not.
They didn't care anything for Hitler. They just wanted to create 'space' for themselves in the social order. It worked.
The swastika has an old history; Buddhists used it as a symbol hundreds of years ago, but the orientation was opposite to the Nazi design.
Hitler was known to have studied symbolism and metaphysics or something similar. Likely the reversed symbol was deliberate.

There are recently declassified foia requests that confirm the germans
were using mescaline on pathetic prisoners in the prison camps.
The basics of diplomacy are set back by raw displays of force.
Those displays are the tactics of children in a kindergarten playground.
