Waipahu Civic Center closed for election day without prior notice

Last Tuesday (election day), I went to Waipahu Civic Center to submit my SNAP application, but the center was closed for election day without prior notice. IMHO this is unacceptable because it leaves the public guessing whether the center is really closed for the day. If a business is going to be closed for Election day, they should put up a sign beforehand so that the public knows for sure that the business is closed.
