The probe continues its amazing trek across the Martian surface.

The most recent volcanic eruptions are of great interest.

Some recent meteor impacts (200) have been seen in the last year.

Just below the surface is a layer of moisture .

On a planet that size there has to be a few remnants of earlier probes from other places.

Getting across a galaxy may take awhile, but decent starships can do this , given Time.

After all, that is what our Earth is.

And now, positive evidence that there were once rivers, or at least streams, on Mars. Gullies have been found inside the crater that have "stream-polished" pebbles. Rounded small bits of rock that appear as if they had been rolled around in a stream for a couple hundred years or so.

Is it a rat or do you smell a rat that was place there?

The image of the rat imho is just an artifact.

The streambed pictures are very solid evidence for flowing liquid water on the surface.

Some very arid regions have sometimes issued water.

Moses was adept at this lifesaving talent.

I have a rock of lava, with bubbles interior, which has a perfectly round hole in it, as if it as drilled by a 2 inch rock drill. It came from my stream, and looks as finely polished as bubbly lava can be after being tumbled in a stream for a few hundred years.

Was this an artifact from the corpses of Engineers drilling for water in an area in which water is plentiful? Or an alien artifact? Or a piece of a meteor from 'Curiosity?'

Maybe from a stray bullet from Matapule's "Gun Nuts?"

    I'll post a photo later....

It is important to carefully store the relic.
Make a tag with the find date , place and other metadata.

If we folks ever have a big barbecue, we will stop arguing and start

    enjoying life.

I am sixty years old and have lived the majority of my life on this planet.

    I prefer barbecues to arguments.
