Re: Filipino programming on 650 AM
This creates 3 radio stations in the Oahu/Honolulu market that aims for the Filipino audience.
KPHI 96.7 FM / 1130 AM - Today's Filipino Mix
KNDI 1270 AM - they have a lot of Filipino programs in their varied mix of ethnic shows.
and now
KPRP 650 AM
KPHI and KNDI also stream online.
Hopefully there is enough advertising dollar to go around. It is also notable to mention that many more stations targeting this demo are also online, some in places you would never think of to look for a radio station... like UStream.com.I'm still here. Are you?

KPRP 650 AM is online and also streaming.

Like many other radio station's they stream on UStream.

The stream is much clearer than the AM signal of course. The picture is pixelated and was earlier out of synch from the audio.I'm still here. Are you?

Re: Filipino programming on 650 AM
This post updates the streaming link for KPRP Radio.

The stream is a video link and kind of reminds me of that old Andy Bumatai thing where he says...
"Eh I seen you on da radio"....
You can do just that at this KPRP's web stream. They're already playing Christmas music there.
I'm still here. Are you?
