    I wonder how the Gmt./oil barons will try to stymie this?

    Thorium is fissile when under a controlled beam of neutrons, making it easier to switch off the reactor.

    The bulk of the earths geothermal heat comes from the decay of Uranium, Potassium and Thorium.

    The gas mantles of Coleman gas lanterns are impregnated with Thorium Oxide.
