    Awesome, I wanna do that too!

    And here's the rest of your story;
    I was at the Nov. 11 concert held at Conroy Bowl in 1957. I was 19 years old and stationed at Barber's Pt. NAS in Ewa. The concert was a benefit concert and was mostly for servicemen stationed on the island. I paid $1.00 and I believe I sat about 25 feet or so from the stage. His repertoire was mostly all his famous songs up to that time. And imho the songs were his best ever. In 1961 I was working for Hawaiian Dodge and my demo was the baby blue convertible Elvis used in "Blue Hawaii." Around 1969 or 1970 while working my way through UH I worked as a room service waiter at the Ilikai. I met Elvis while he was outside a restaurant having some drinks with another person. I went up to him and we chatted for a couple of minutes. He gave me an autograph, but I have since lost it. It was written on a napkin. He was smoking a cigar, afaik, he did not smoke cigarettes. In January of 1973 I was a cop for HPD and Elvis was performing his Aloha From Hawaii concert and I volunteered to handle perimeter motor traffic control. Unfortunately, I did not get to see him perform. At age 74 I am still a fan of Elvis.
    This must have been a great show! Take any pix ?
