For those of you who have iPods, & need to call for help , well, for me, the number I call is - ..... 798-7650, which actually directs you to the call center.

IF you have called them before, for an iPod issue, you might get a recording, & will automatically know you already, & you might have some problems getting a live person. My best option, which I tricked the automated answering machine, & I actually got directed to a live person, I just placed a star 67 (*67 798-7650)) before the 7 digit number. lol.

I was told that when you do call, & the automated answering machine answers, just say " Manager " & you (supposedly) will get a local manager in your state to help you.

-- I am just passing this info down .

otherwise, if there are more questions you have that I have not answered, you can always ask them. :-) or go into your local Apple Store. :-).

For me, here in Oahu, the one I go to is in Ala Moana. At least I hope they are still there, otherwise if not, I can always Google their new location if they moved . Good Luck & Aloha.

Re: Apple Store / I pod....

I swear, when I called apple store yesterday & talked to woman, it took me 12 minutes or so to be bale to get something across in regards to what I done, then when I finally go to the store, I talked directly to a computer tech/genius, it took me a whole minute for the guy to understand what I wanted done. I just hate talking to a woman on the phone, they sound so dense SIGH!!. Sometimes I think its always best to talk to a guy to get anything done at all!!.

Guys have an intuitive understanding of gadgets. Maybe it's a case of "takes one to know one"?

I think so too. Especially guys, when they know what you are talking about, they already know how to solve it etc.

I also think that , MY BEST BET is to just go in person to make that appointment with anyone or that are the genius in Apple Store which will be a lot faster, as oppose to calling on the phone, talking to some lady, which will take about 5 to 10 minutes plus on he phone TRYING to make an appointment.. I truly have no idea WHY it even takes longer on the phone with a lady on a phone than as oppose to talking to a guy / genius in person. Perhaps like you said " it takes one to know one". Sadly, that could be the whole answer to it all.

                Re: Apple Store/iPod/ iTunes..

                On 9/3/14 Wednesday ....

I went to the Apple Store today (9/3/14), When I talked to someone on the phone the other day, I was lead to believe that, if I had ANY apple product such as an iTunes, regarding whether I had a different computer software or not, they were still able to help me, apparently NOT !!!. Apparently I would have to have just an apple product nothing else!!. Since my computer is under Microsoft, they did not want to touch my computer in fear of being liable. What ever!!. AND they couldn't tell me this over the phone? & just let me walk in with my tower, & waste MY time just to be told that no one was going to help me & was told that I should try to go to the Microsoft store to have them help me what I wanted done Thanks Apple Store for ALL your help!!!. Thanks for NOTHING!!.

What I wanted was a whole new Blank iTunes for my hubby, so that I can download ALL of the music that he wanted & that it would not coincide with my music & vice versa. I was told they could help me. YEAH RIGHT!!. What they "TRIED" to tell me is what I already knew from the beginning . That's why I HATE APPLE!!! unfortunately I have to use their frgn iTunes library just to download it to my iPod. SIGH!!!. :-(

When I talked to a computer guy about my tower when I had them fix it & upgrade it etc. he told me that it may coincide with my iTunes library, that's why I went to that STUPID APPLE STORE for a help that I NEVER got!!.

*Well back to square one. SIGH!!. :-(

I don't know what was worse, going there in person wasting my time, or wasting MY time on the phone talking to a woman that is an Apple Employee who totally has NO IDEA how to help me. I think its both!!!. SIGH :-(

*Personally I really don't care who reads this, that's why its here, & that's why I posted this!!. it's for everyone to anyone to read this!!.

p.s. if that's all you have is an Apple product nothing more, then that's the place to go,& go in person to make an appointment, IF you don't have any, & only have an iTunes product, & that's it, don't even bother wasting your time going in, much less TRYING to make an appointment just to go in. Probably your best bet is to have someone help you with your iTunes over the phone, IF your lucky enough for it to go smoothly. Otherwise maybe just try to do it on your own, or how ever you can do it with out getting it messed up.

All I can say is - Good luck with that.

That is the worse experience I ever had with Apple Store Employees!!.
