    Never been to those places so I can't say either way on the matter.

    Also according to the actual Yelp's Top 100 list for 2015, 5 additional entries to cities I have been too, I haven't been to those places either (and if even I did visit them it would be a century out of date anyway).

    Most of those places are little-known hole-in-the-walls. But that's what Yelp is good for. The list does not reflect your father's or grandfather's taste, nor necessarily that of most of your better-known "Foodies" or food critics. It reflects the demographics of your typical Yelper. And in Yelp Land there's often feeding frenzies (or feeding trendies) for hole-in-the-walls. The less known your little "discovery" the better.
