Handyman electrician needed
Any of you know of a decent and reasonably inexpensive electrician? I need an outlet repaired or replaced and the first quote I got was $250, which seems steep to say the least.
Pearlridge area.

whoa..that is steep...should cost no more than $95 for 1 hour labor, even though it'll just take about 8 minutes for a qualified electrician to install a new electrical outlet..
I've done it myself...easy...just buy a electrical tester which blinks and beeps to let you know if electricity is still on...
sorry, no electrician come to mind...oh yeah, there is one...had to call one for my mother in law in which i found through Yelp...a Master Electrician...David, and his company EL Electrical Services (based out of Hawaii kai). Check his Yelp rating...5 stars from 10 reviews !

Thanks. As it happens I saw all those good reviews too. I left him a message and we'll see what develops.

Who ever you go to, don't use Mr. Electric.
Talk about a rip off, and poor workmanship.

Wish I were there. I'd charge between $35 - $70 depending on travel time to your location. For $250 I'd replace 10 outlets.
