Strike a pose for the Heisman.
Who's coming second?

This is an interesting read. I hope Mariota gets the Heisman.

Mariota first from Hawaii to win Heisman
In its 80th year, the Heisman Memorial Trophy is Hawaii-bound after Saint Louis School graduate Marcus Mariota was awarded the iconic bronze statue today on national TV. The University of Oregon quarterback won the award, symbolic of being the nation's top college football player, over two other finalists -- Alabama wide receiver Amari Cooper and Wisconsin running back Melvin Gordon -- receiving 90.92 percent of the total points, second highest all-time behind Ohio State's Troy Smith.
In NY, Tampa, Tennessee, just lose for the pick.
Why No One Wanted Marcus Mariota
Every college team wishes it had Mariota now. Nearly every NFL team does, too. As it turns out, though, almost no schools wanted Mariota when they could have had him... what most conspired against Mariota playing college football was his home state. Mariota is from Hawaii—and college coaches hate going to Hawaii.

Run for the roses.
Obama said Mariota is “as good a young man as he is an athlete, and it’s fun to watch all of Hawaii root for his success.”
Obama noted that Saint Louis is the rival to Punahou, where the president attended high school. “But I’ll let that slide since he’s been exciting to watch at Oregon,” Obama said. “Just like everyone in Hawaii, I’m very proud of him and wish him the best of luck on New Year’s Day and beyond.”
A Presidency and now a Heisman, Hawai'i has plenty to be proud of. And that doesn't even count all the unsung heros like Auntie. Yes, this matapule is very proud of Hawaiian kakai.

Can Oregon give Ohio St. a Quack attack, ack, ack, ack...? You outta know by now.
What happened to Oregon's offensive & defensive line in the championship game?

Being the first pick by Tampa Bay might not be a good thing.

Marcus will do good. He just has to get used to a lot of country music.
