    Re: Presidential insanity

I was watching a Netflix documentary about the life story of Hitler and how he seduced the German population (and other populations around the world) and his rise to power. The documentary was made about 45 years ago but is still relevant today. The parallels between German society in the 1920s/30s and American society today are eerie. In addition trump is using many of the same propaganda techniques that Hitler used (for example Hitler introduced himself to the German people by descending from the clouds in an airplane while trump introduced himself by descending from the heights of trump tower on an escalator). First there was destruction of democracy, then destruction of republican principles, and then destruction of societal norms. This resulted in authoritarianism, sycopathy, and finally destruction of a nation.

The problem is that many in German society knew that Hitler was dangerous but refused to speak up for either fear of reprisals or belief that Hitler would soon fail and fade into History. That approach did not end well. I refuse to be silent! I will fight America's slide into authoritarianism, white nationalism, and condoning refutation of our Constitution and the rule of law. I will speak out against trump's national propaganda machine, Faux Gnus, social media misinformation, and asinine trolls on websites like Hawaii Threads. This IS NOT a 'free speech' issue. This is a well organized attempt by a segment of the American society, as well as certain foreign governments, to destroy what our nation has come to stand for.

Speak up people and oppose this orange menace we face today regardless of your political leanings. Silence will only hasten our decline into self-destruction and oblivion. I don't own guns, I prefer to avoid confrontation. and I want to live a comfortable life in retirement, but I will fight what is happening in the United States today to my death.,

You can understand the movie if you can read the subtitles.

I hope those 60% who approve go out and mingle on Easter Sunday. It will be a good way to thin herd of deplorables.

If Trump has half a brain, he would be dangerous. He has half a brain, enough to be petty.
