CBS is adding a second "Star Trek" TV series to its CBS All Access subscription streaming service. After the successful launch of "Star Trek: Discovery," today they've premiered "Star Trek: Picard," catching up with Capt. Jean-Luc Picard long after his adventures aboard the Enterprise D.

I suppose if I wait long enough this series would make its way to iTunes.

By the way Picard also commanded the Enterprise-E in three movies. I guess the question is the Enterprise-E still around or is it at Enterprise-F?

The first episode of Star Trek: Picard is available to be viewed thru the CBS web site at:

I have no idea how long this first episode will be available for free watching.

        Re: Star Trek: Picard

I re-subscribed back to CBS All Access just to see this series. I have to say, so far so good. Three episodes.

Plus I get to catch up with the first season to second of Star Trek Discovery which I have a hard time buying into as a prequel to the original Star Trek classic series of the 1960s.

I have a hard time buying into prequel series that look better technologically than the original series they are supposed to preceded. I never accepted Star Trek Enterprise with the Quantum Leap guy at all... but Discovery is a bit better but still.. if it is a prequel series why not make it look retro like the original Star Trek? They could do it as they did when they mirrored the Tribbles episode in Star Trek Deep Space 9.
        I'm still here. Are you?

While shopping at Target I noticed a DVD of this series is available. It hasn't made it to iTunes yet.

I can't remember when this series made it to iTunes but it did and I manage to purchase it and see it a couple of times.
