Saturday August 8, 2020 was the Primary Election Day for the State of Hawaii.
For 2020 the election is done by mail in voting as opposed going to designated polling places to cast your ballot.
Call me old fashioned while I kind of prefer to go to a polling place on a specified day to cast my vote I could understand the State of Hawaii wanting to do a mail in voting process and in light of the COVID-19 situation I think the State of Hawaii was fortunate to do the process this way.
For myself, my ballot came in around the week it was supposed to and I was to mail it out on the Monday before the election.
If anyone else wants to add their experience to this year's voting process by all means respond this thread.
