  • "Law & Order: Organized Crime" on NBC

Been watching Law & Order: Organized Crime (L&O: OC) via the NBC web site. This is the series that has Christopher Meloni coming back to play his Elliot Stabler character from Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.

After watching 4 episodes it's has more a feel like the old CBS series Wiseguy but told from the view of Jonathan Banks's character of Frank McPike rather than Ken Wahl's Vinnie Terranova.

When is Christopher Meloni going on Chicago PD in a battle of gravelly voice with Jason Beghe?

Kind of noticed that Law & Order: Organized Crime don't have those title cards that say when and where the scene will take place.

Also for the starting credits you don't see the detectives and lawyers in one shot. However to be fair the starting credits shows the other guys (as in the bad guys) as the main characters in the series.

A sort of different kind of Law & Order.

Is Christopher Meloni doing the Clint Eastwood gruff whisper voice? I don't remember him talking that way in the early S.V.U seasons.
