Lydia Jacoby, first Olympic swimmer born in Alaska, wins gold for the US –and for Seward (msn.com)

I like those Cinderella stories where an unknown comes from behind for an unexpected victory. She had a "Look at Mills" Olympic moment. Lydia Jacoby came from Alaska which has one Olympic size swimming pool in the whole state. Billy Mills was a Native American from 1960's Souh Dakota. There was a movie about Billy Mills titled "Running Brave." Both of these underdogs did it at the Tokyo Olympic Games.
