Maybe it's because I have access to free movie rentals through work that I haven't seen the inside of a movie theater in a long time. But most of my movie viewing happens at home. So ... what have you been watching from the comfort of you sofa/futon/floor/etc.?
Lemme start things off ...
Lemme start things off ...
- The Triplets of Bellville -- I don't remember which animation award it won -- Oscar or Cannes. A really interesting film, but not kid's fare, though.
- Garden State -- You know you watch too much Law & Order when you can spot all the New York actors in this film. Zach Braff wears my hair better than I do.
- Trembling Before G-d -- A documentary about gay Orthodox Jews. How does a person remain devoted to a religion that reviles them?
- The Elegant Universe -- Actually, this is a NOVA documentary, but man is that string theory wacky!
- 200 American -- A no-budget film I saw at a film festival about two years ago. A pretty good screenplay, but I wish it weren't shot on digital.
