Puna Kamali’i Flowers, Inc. Announces Creation of “The Disability Network”

KEA’AU – Puna Kamali’i Flowers, Inc. announced today the creation of “The Disability Network,” a free online forum for open discussion of disability-related issues.

The forum is located at and features sections for current news, upcoming events, support for caregivers, employment for the disabled, and support for those involved in new diagnosis of disabilities.

According to a survey by Cornell University, an estimated 54 million Americans are living with a disability.

Puna Kamali'i Flowers, Inc. is a small, family-owned business that provides services for the developmentally disabled, including habilitation-supported employment, personal assistance and transportation. These opportunities are created through the production of foliage materials and packing materials for the floricultural industry, as well as a confidential document shredding service. Puna Kamali’i Flowers, Inc. also provides group island tours for disabled individuals.
