If on Kauai the best has to be down in Anahola next to the Anahola store sits "Duane's Ono Burger" the sign also says "World famous" a small place maybe less than 300 sq ft. The burgers are really great! However don't be in a rush if you arrive around noon - expect to wait up to an hour but the wait is worth every bite!

Burgers taste better at the beach or when coming home from the beach for some reason.

Not much is good news for produce cows, and beef ain't good for us, but it's still pretty tasty unless filled with adrenalin from cows freaking out at slaughter time.

Cool Re: Hawaii's Best Hamburger? Where?

I like L&L's burgers (not their fries, though). Not sure what they put in them, but they have an unusual taste and are very yummy.

Also the ones at Art's Hideaway and Downbeat Diner.

I also love the Big Mac's and Cheeseburgers at McDonald's, and the Whoppers at Burger King's, and Ultimate Bacon Cheeseburger at Jack in the Box.

Nowadays I have to eat gluten free, so I eat the burgers without the bread. Jack in the Box will wrap them in lettuce if you ask!

I'm glad they've kept one Carl's Jr. on the island, luv their juicy char-broiled Western burger, well done, no cheese/vegs., dbl. mayo minus the BBQ soz, and crispy bacon. Just bun, mayo, onion rings, and bacon, nice and greasy... the way I made mine growing up, hard to beat. At the Union Station, Sand Island/Nimitz Hwy.

Thumbs up Re: Maui's Best Hamburger? Where?

Stewart's Burgers in Kihei (Maui) offers up a great burger. Many variations of the burger are available. Be sure try their friend onion rings. It's all ono!
If you can't set a good example, at least serve as a horrible warning.
