WE might have a little controversy with Kendall's nickname. Anderson Silva is also called "the spider". Silva's looked very good against Leben.

I have to give proper respect to Kendall Groves. He really represented the home state, wrapping himself in the Hawaiian flag. After his fight with Ed I got choked up. Honestly, I didn't expect Dana to give Ed a contract, too, after Kendall was announced the winner. It was amazing. Additionally, something I found extremely heart warming was how Matt Hamil beat the living crap out of that other guy. It doesn't matter that Matt is deaf; that guy is a crazy fighter.

I think that when Tito and Shamrock face off, Tito is going to win. I hate Tito's attitude, but he's still the better fighter, and he trained Kendall, so Tito's got my respect.

That was a nice article written about Kendall in the newspaper. I was actually looking for recognition by the newspaper. Quick question to anyone, where's BJ Penn? He fought in the UFC 58, but I don't know where he went. Is he fighting sometime this year?

Even though I'm a huge Tito fan , Shamrock isn't a jerk. He just wants a little respect. Not to be flipped off and rude comments and stuff. I don't think that's too hard for Tito to do, but I wonder if Tito will think that is a sign of weakness. Oh well, it's going to be a good fight.

Start Time in Hawaii for UFC 61

Just to stick my 'ihu in other people's kuleana , but I think the fight in hawaii starts at 4pm saturday. Reason is, I live on Mountain standard time, and we are 1 hour ahead of vegas, and 2 hours behind eastern time. Which in relation, Mountain time is 4 hours ahead of Hawaii time. So the fight starts at 10pm EST/ 8pm MST/ 7pm PST and 4pm HST. Now that's assuming there's no time delay in broadcast to hawaii, which then everything goes out the window.

I hope that makes the dirty water less mirky...heh.

That's what I was wondering last week too, since the UFC 60 started at 6pm. But we've already determined that UFC 61 does start at 4pm.
The first hour will probably be the promo that aired last week. (yawn)
