      Re: Tom Cruise....Fading Star

It seems that even Entertainment Weekly is asking the question about Tom this week.

It was a widely circulated piece of gossip from Fox News' Roger Friedman (citing a Paramount insider) that at an early test screening of Mission: Impossible III, during a scene in which Cruise's character, Ethan Hunt, is being beaten within an inch of his life, the audience did something that once would have been unthinkable: They clapped. Applauding at the sight of Cruise being pummeled — has it really come to this?
War of the Worlds, made an impressive $234 million, but at least some of the credit there must go to marquee-name director Steven Spielberg and the tripods.

Is Tom a "movie star" or an actor?
Uh, I really enjoyed Vanilla Sky - I've watched it 3 times and continue to enjoy it. Then again, I really liked Fargo, too. I don't like or dislike a movie only because of the actors, however. I consider the entirety to determine value.

                        Re: Tom Cruise....Fading Star

Tom Cruise is a likable personality, most times. He goes nuts on occasion, like we all do, from time to time.

Tom is not an actor. He couldn't play anyone but Tom Cruise! He's a celebrity. He's cute and likable, amiable in public, for the most part, which is why he's cast in likable parts, as a likable guy.... He's pretty (handsome?) but if that's what Scientology turns you into, no thanks.

On another note: my recently deceased friend, Ingo Swann, was also a Scientologist, but he was not an a-hole like Tom.... FWIW.

Vanilla Sky (where did they get that title??), was an interesting study. The film was not that well made, but I think Tom was perfect for the part of a neurotic.

It was not entertainment, so much, as exploration; for that I enjoyed it.

                            Poor old dude.

The public attacks these icons like they were the last piece of sausage on the plate.

Now as far as remote viewing goes on,

that involves checking some boxes in some backdoors to the psyche.

I wonder how Tom must feel about the recent Thetan Sex abuse at his church where these aliens were abused. See video.

The history of the organization is worth a good read.

                                L. Ron Hubbard has a past that is very clouded.

A lot of that cloud has resulted in the mis-filing of certain key documents

                                at ONI.

I feel that Thomas is a good person but has been fed bad information by groupies.
