Ah, it was Miss Wyoming doing her aerial silk dance. Certainly a change from all the singing and piano playing most of the others seem to do.[...]

Can't tell if it was a tumbling routine or something along the lines of Cirque Du Soleil. If the latter, then Miss Wyoming and Pili really wowed the crowd...and judges! Yes, indeedy...a nice change from the norm!

Did anyone catch Pageant School on CMT/MTV? For the first time ever, the 52 contestants meet each other 4 months prior to pageant week. They're coached by several experts, including Hawaii's own Angela Baraquio Grey.

I know that CMT's definitely trying to boost ratings and I'm kinda glad they did something like this because the country gets to meet the contestants and pick favorites BEFORE pageant night. Judging from other message boards I frequent, it's working because Pageant School's been airing practically every hour on the hour and it's definitely created a buzz for tomorrow night's telecast.

(Forgive me, I'm a big time pageant buff)

I couldn't find the clip of her. I swear I looked thru all that opera singing, but I think after that woman in the blue dress' performance, I must have not looked carefully. Anybody know 'where' in the clip her Tahitian performance is?

It's somewhere in the middle -- I want to say about 4 or 5 minutes in, but don't quote me on it. I don't blame you for not being able to find her. Hers was literally a 'blip!' compared to those irritating tap dancers.

Unfortunately According to this CMT is only available on Digital Service. I know the feeling because last year I didn't have Digital and was unable to watch the pageant until a few days after when VH1 (I believe) aired a repeat of the telecast.

Maybe they'll be broadcasting it online tomorrow night?

I haven't been doing anything this afternoon except reading message board after message board for Miss America results.

I'm shocked that Miss Arkansas didn't place! At least she got her Pageant School necklace to take home with her....GO PILI!
