    Re: Starbulletin Boo Boo's

Most layout editors come from a writing background, and they automatically trim a picture rather than cut a story. Or, maybe the guy's coin slot was showing.

Nice to see a thread that was started by ManoaSurfer123. I miss him still.

But hey, look on the bright side. Powertrippers can exclude who they want, and someday you too can be powerful.

The photo was shot horizontal, then cropped square. The (ahem) bottom of the photo is the bottom of the photo.

        "Coin slot." Good one...

I knew we'd get the details from our trusty SB posters. Thanks!

I bet there are more people on HT who don't miss him. I know I don't.

Some guys just can't get it through their heads that you don't bite the hand of the guy who's paying for the privilege of hosting your rants and ramblings.
Well I am just a monkey man, I'm glad you are a monkey woman too.

Not sure where to post this, since it's not a boo-boo. Quite the opposite, in fact.

I think the Star Bull has the best headline writers.

Example, above yesterday's coverage of Ms. Hilton getting out of jail:

                Paris Liberated!

That is good. I agree. Now if only we could be liberated from Paris!

Of course, on A-1 today we have a "peak" inside CIA files. Sigh.

We all have our upsndowns, buzz...even the CIA.

's better than a "leak," I suppose (although, as a reporter, you'd like that, wouldn't you?) Goes to show that spell-check can't do everything - ah, for the days of human proof-readers (something I used to do; not exactly a marketable skill these days.)

What? You mean the French had to get bailed out again? We did that in WWI, WWII, and the Vietnam War!!
