weird food toppings/pairings

anyone have any interesting food toppings/pairings? my fiance has never heard of putting salt on top of the watermelon. i used to put suger in my avacado until someone put shoyu in theirs. a friend says they have some kind of hawaiian fruit thats super sour, but if you licked a lemon after eating this fruit, the lemon will taste like candy.
i put furikake or parmesian/butter on my popcorn but i have a cousin that puts suger on hers.

I put salt on watermelon as well, but I squeeze some lemon on it too

My mom does that. She puts mayo on just about anything. Beets, tomatoes, whatever. Basically any veggie gets a bloop of mayo or Catalina dressing.

We went through a li hing phase, but I think everyone here does. "Hmm... wonder how it would taste on that?"

My grandpa could eat Katsup with anything!
One time he put it on Ice cream just to gross us out!

I don't know if it would count, but:

-Dipping french fries in the McDonalds Ice Cream

-Scoop of sour cream on Chili (sounds gross, but da buggah stay ono!!!)

Hell, yeah! When I make chili, I make it pretty hot, so I suggest a dollop of s.c. for those who like it milder.

Thin slices of raw potato (which is probably the weirder part), with a dusting of celery salt.

Am I the only freak in the world who likes raw potato slices...?

Picked up the habit from the dad of my friend Miguel. Working on his truck one hot summer day and dad came out with a six pack of Tecate and bunch of stuff in the other had. Pop open the beer, pour the salt and Tapatio on the top, squeeze a lime on top. Drink and swirl the top to get all that goodness. Replenish if necessary. Old school.

There is probably a 7 dollar version somewhere in a fancy restaurant but I like this method much better.

I don't think chips on Ice cream sounds gross I eat popcorn on vanilla ice cream!

I love Peanut Butter and chedda cheese sandwiches

Peanut Butter and Balogna sandwiches are awesome too!!
Oh and...fried egg and jetchup/mayo sandwiches...
what can I say we were poor when I was a kid!

OH OH one more yuck...my grandfather used to drink buttermilk like 8 OZ with 2 tsp salt and 1 tsp pepper!! ~gag~

I LOVE sour cream on chili! I like sour cream on everything!

My sons love ketchup on everything. Though since they end up usually just eating the ketchup, I suspect that's mostly what they're after.

Ketchup on scrambled eggs... is that weird? I never thought so, saw it everywhere here, but some folks recoil in horror.
