Mole salami sandwich with fresh mozzarella and marinated onions on focaccia.
(That's "moe-lay," as in the Latin seasoning, not "mohl," as in the burrowing mammal.) From Salumi, a tiny place near Pioneer Square here in Seattle, where they make several varieties of their own cured meats, as well as the mozzarella and gnocchi, fresh. Owned and operated by Mario Batali's father, Armandino.

Leo, have you been to the Steel Pig BBQ up by Seattle Center? I've heard that they have really wonderful ribs there, too.

"Mingon" lol I always wanted to ask a waiter in a fine dining restaurant, "What is a Filet Mignon?", pronouncing the supposed-to-be-silent "G". "Mig-non". Then say across the table, "Honey, is that "Ver-sayce" perfume you're wearing tonight?"

Funny da' combo you get. Filet Mignon, Scallops and FRIED RICE. Sounds so gourmet - right up to the FRIED RICE?! Like saying, "I'll have the French Rack of Lamb and a Spam Musubi".

    Or like da' bumpah stickah..

Sorry we can't deliver the AF's tutu's chicken soup, complete with plenty of konbu. (I'd add garlic, too.)
