That being said, it was the defense that kept Hawai‘i in this one. Zeno Choi, once again, proved pivotal to holding back the Cowboys. Perhaps it was not wishing to endure another five-OT nailbiter. Or maybe it was knowing Cordeiro was starting his first-ever D-I football game — against a veteran team picked to finish second in the Mountain West.
In spite of all of that, it was a hail mary pass (after nearly being sacked) for 38 yards to JoJo Ward — in the final minute and a half of the 4th quarter — that won the game.
Hawaii escapes 17-13! The big question: Will McDonald’s knee be good to go this week?

after watching the game I'd say Cordiero acquitted himself well enuf and Furuta did his job along with virtually no penalties in a game that had Wyoming playing like the trip to Hawaii had them fatigued, very un-Wyoming-lyke thanx in part to a 2nd string QB who didn't catch fire. Hawaii played spirited and skipped past a struggling team who should have been a better opponent. gotta say tho, that great escape and throw by Cordiero to Ward near the end was spectacular and promises good things for the Warrior's future, now if butts would fill the seats...

I stopped watching at this point — as UH’s defense was just being shredded by BYU freshman QB Zach Wilson. Cole McDonald and the offense, meanwhile, seemed out of synch. Dropped passes, INTs, and their best drive ended in a 3-point field goal conversion.
and the wheels come off 40-22 Nevada, can't drop passes...
Less people caring enough to post the games now. Finally found the Rainbow Warriors vs. Wolf Pack game condensed into 24½ minutes. Just whistle-to-whistle, every play. How convenient!
