I prefer Savers because at least they rack things by size. But I haven't been in one for awhile now. I'm guessing $7, top end with various discounts. (On any given day, one tag color is usually 50% off as that color represents old stock that hasn't moved.)

Well now, the Goodwill on Beretania would be a good place to shop. The store is nicer and less junk then Savers.

I guess I was thinking of Salvation Army.

Seven bucks for a used shirt? Wow, that's high. My Mom tells me that they have signs out, saying that clothing isn't being accepted.

(now...did I mix up the Salvation Army with Goodwill?)

The reason that I ask is...I've discovered that Alohashirts sell in France (I put some out at the town garagesale, and it worked), so I am wondering if this could be built up into some sort of business for myself (or half-business).

But seven bucks is way too high for this to work. (I was thinking 'Alohashirt and Shaveice'.)

I've just been on the phone with someone from Savers...some of the Alohawear is $.99. I wonder what you get for that price?

I haven't been in Savers in over ten years, but from what another poster here and a couple of others have said to me in 3D life, it may not have gotten any better. I didn't buy a thing when I was there, it was worse than what I find at the Goodwill over in Wahiawa, for example. There were actually things with holes in them, mostly faded and really disappointing finds. I bought a Campbells Soup mug cuz I had never seen one and it comes in handy, like eating cereal out of, etc, and is a nice size.

Selling aloha shirts in France sounds like you may have found a cool income for yourself. the novelty of it may go far. I hope so.

Susie, you would be sick at the prices in a little shop downtown. By calling those shirts "vintage", those old shirts are going for $75 each. It took every fiber in my being to keep my face straight and mind my manners.

Aloha Shirts in France! What a great idea!

Susie, think BIG! Contact Aloha Shirt Wholesalers. Start out small. The potential is great. You could end up selling ukapila Hawaiiana Products and at the same time, you'll be promoting Hawai'i nei.

Bringing a bit of Aloha to France!

At an Arizona Goodwill the most expensive Aloha shirt I saw was like 5.99, they were all priced differently, maybe it was the name brand.

Thats a cool idea you have. Now you have me curious, I must make a scouting trip to checkout the pricing. Are looking for any particular colors or style or fabric?

Yeah, Susie, name it "Je T'aloha" (I aloha you in French, right?) or something similarly cool!

I am beginning to think that this could be fun to do.

Could someone please weigh a shirt for me and see how much it would cost for shipping?

Now all I gotta do is find a shaveice machine.
