I like to see the smug Lane Kiffin get his comeuppance.

        Hawai‘i vs. #1 USC

Despite a slew of penalties and two missed conversions, the USC Trojans prove why they are ranked #1 in the nation. QB Matt Barkley with some flawless play and the Trojans are only up 35-0 because of some missed catches. Miah Ostrowski misses some key passes as well from Hawai‘i QB Sean Schroeder and the Warriors pay for it. USC Coach Lane Kiffin says the weak spot is his D-line, but against Hawai‘i, they have executed. The Warrior defense, on the other hand, has had its bright spots including a nice interception, but overall are still making rooking mistakes — granted in the Coliseum with 93,000 screaming fans.

A loss for the Warriors today was a foregone conclusion, but look for Coach Norm Chow to make some adjustments in the second half, and prevent USC from beating the spread.

Wow, did I call this one, or what? THe UH offense comes out strong in the second half and puts up 10 points. The Trojans score two TDs of their own, but oddsmakers lose one as USC fails to cover the spread, finishing the game with their second unit.

          Hawai‘i has work to do!

Good for you. OTOH, I didn't want to continue watching that slaughter.

If any Hawaii Fan wants to watch something more uplifting, you might want to tune in to the Oregon/Arkansas St. game on ESPN. The Ducks are leading, 50-3 with a few minutes left in the first half. What's remarkable is that Oregon's starter at QB is a redshirt freshman....from Hawaii.

That's right. Marcus Mariota from St. Louis. I'll say it right here. You're going to be hearing a lot about this kid on sports reports for the next 4 years.

A moral victory for those who betted on UH when the spread hit 40 and over.

USC dropped from 1st to 2nd in the poll after beating UH. Is that a diss at UH?

USC did their annual choke job by losing to the Stanford band is out on the field. Maybe Oregon can play for the BCS championship.
