Lynn, a great big THANK YOU for describing the screening test for bone marrow matching. A lot of people (so ashamed to admit, including me) thought it still required a blood draw.

Swabs in the mouth, huh? Pretty cool! Do you still have the contact info?

It was a trip down memory lane today. Twenty-five years, I was a student at HCC. Taking courses through the Work Hawaii Program. Math and English before heading out to take Nursing School at KCC at the old Campus. Walking through campus and then to the cafeteria made me go back in time. Too bad I couldn't lose the weight too!

The Forum was interesting and Fun.

Romy of course the politician and experienced. Liliy and me we did well.

We stuck to the issues. No name calling or bad politics were done.

It started the other day. An itchy throat and coughing. Yes...I was a victim of the VOG. Unlike others, I can't smell. Never the less, I the feel the effects too. And so I got worse. Fever, chills and green yucky galas. In my delirious state, I started to walk in the wee hours of the morning. Gasping for air and asking for more medication because I couldn't breathe. When the sun broke through, I was a bit better. PK told me to stay home. Never mind sign waving. Did I listen? Of course not. I'm stubborn. It's three days till Primary Saturday.

                I collapsed.

Spending several hours getting examined, poked, and an EKG.

                The verdict. I need REST.

I also told the doctor to re-check my foot. I felt an object was stuck in it. He injected my foot with Numbing Medicine but it was PAINFUL!! Nothing was there. He sent to have an X-ray....nothing was found.

Damn ting is what it was diagnosed with the first time.

Have a good day and don't forget to VOTE on SATURDAY!

"Council member Romy Cachola continues to complain about potential noise and property value issues in his district. However, he is the council member who insisted the proposed route be shifted to his district and away from Pearl Harbor and Honolulu International Airport. The route can be shifted back, of course. THe Department of Defense and the airport would welcome an alternative to crowded parking lots and automobile gridlock."

Once again, I remind you of his editorial in the StarBulletin on January 9, 2007.
Stating how 122 residents sent in their approvals via Senator Sakamoto's survey. He himself said 70,000 - 80,000 live in the area. In his own own words "If this is not a strong indication of the community's sentiments, then I don't know what is." http://starbulletin.com/2007/01/09/e...mmentary2.html

I KNOW WHAT IS!! 122 residents does NOT represent the COMMUNITY'S SENTIMENT!!!

                  * Repealing my opponent's "Salt Lake Spur" segment of the rail transit route which most residents oppose as a noisy, expensive and unnecessary detour through their neighborhood.

                      Thank you, Kani.

This afternoon, was my last sign waving before the Primary.

                      It was AWESOME!

                      Neighbors, Campaign Manager and friends.

                      Every corner and den some.

People were yelling from their cars, trucks, SUVS.

                      Just amazing.

The excitement builds. Tomorrow is Primary Election Day. I entered this race knowing it was a long shot. And so I made sure I had FuN and learn. What I wasn't prepared for was the hate and ugliness I was to encounter. Politics get plenny Opala and Kakas. I no kid you. One has to be strong to survive the game. As a newbie, I learned on my own. Win or Lose...I wll help future new politicians the ropes on what to do and where to go.

                      Love and ALOHA,
