Whew. In 2004:

• The most popular brand on the web was Microsoft's MSN.
• TIME magazine named Friendster as a top website, Facebook just launched.
• There was no Google Maps. It was all about MapQuest.
• The Howard Dean campaign was revolutionizing online organizing. Kinda.
• Online photo sharing site Flickr launched, converted from an online game.

We've been doing this for ten years? That's insane. And difficult to fathom.

In case anyone is interested April of 2014 is the 10th year anniversary of HawaiiThreads.

Normally we would do a pot luck picnic or be part of Geek Meet but this year's Geek Meet is on June 1st.
