We should also point out that ginger is reportedly a good cure for seasickness.

I would prefer Mary Ann myself, but then again what do I know?

      Saltines.

All my days in the Navy, whenever we were leaving port, no matter how rough the night before, I always stopped a the store and bought a package of Saltines crackers.

Then I ate one whole stack as my breakfast, with black coffee, and that got me over the initial hump of oojiness when you first hit the ocean swells.

      After that, OK.

And the Japanese swear by ginger. Look into that one.

Mary Ann was the one! Since I figured I was Gilligan, I always wanted those two to get together. Guess they chose not to show us that aspect, eh?!

All aboard the Mai Tai !

Just a suggestion... Kevin Jay and his wife are arriving in Honolulu to stay 7 days on May 27th.

Maybe Sunday May 28th could work out as a boat day?

That's the Memorial Day holiday weekend. Might be tough for folks to make it, with prior holiday plans and all?

Oh yeah! That's true. Was just trying to include our visiting HT'ers. Oh well. We'll have to make it another time.

                      I will go
                      with wahine in tow
                      when the sea winds blow
                      and the honu show

Turtle and fish, all mah-ke, die, dead.
Mufi's sewage make me hurt in head.
                      Polititians lie, having that said,
my landlubber clothes; gotta soon shed.

                              1) How far is this going to go from the shore?
                              2) What kind of equipment will there be?
                              3) What kine skills everyone can bring?

If I go, I no like be like Gilligan's island. I do get sea sick (my last boat ride was on a fairly large boat and I slept when I felt like upchucking, but I did upchuck in the bathroom and afterwards everything was fine) but if get good fun, then no matter.
How'd I get so white and nerdy?
