Sorry couldn't get that last one, so....

When I'm working yes I know I'm gonna be
I'm gonna be the man who's working hard for you
And when the money comes in for the work I'll do
I'll pass almost every penny on to you

A fun song and sooo true!
Life is either an adventure... or you're not doing it right!!!

I kinda figured it wasn't the same! I'm such a fan of Jonathan and Darlene having grown up with their music in the background whenever my parents had a party. I carried on the tradition. It was always so funny to see the faces of guests who didn't want to take a chance on offending the hosts by saying something! I wish iTunes carried their music. It's absolutely THE best party music.

Guess we've lost interest in this thread? That's okay. It had a great run.

You spoke too soon; I don't generally check HT over the weekend (and I was out of the office yesterday) - but I knows me some Proclaimers, those Scots lads!

Have you heard Wing, out of New Zealand? I have yet to determine if she's for real, or a brilliant joke in the J&D Edwards vein.

I haven't heard of her. I checked the iTunes Music Store and there is an artist by the name of Wing and the album is Island Breeze. But, that really sounds like a 'he' to me and while there were a couple of off notes in the tunes I previewed, they didn't come close to J&D.

Speaking of the very talented Jonathan and Darlene Edwards, their 'Greatest Hits - Volume 2' CD arrived today. I'm in heaven!

I've got an earworm and maybe it'll go away if I spread it around. Anybody remember this one?

At night you know that I will find you
It's been the same way for three years
I know every bar in this town

from Fiji to Tiree and the Isles of Ebony,
from Peru to Cebu near the power of Babylon,
from Bali to Cali - far beneath the coral sea.

                  Hear it? And?

OK, OK, no more Googling lyrics... but seriously, I'd never paid attention to the lyrics of Orinoco Flow... that was sort of like elevator music (No slight intended, Leo Lakio.) in that you didn't pay attention to it... it just sort of drifted around in the background!

Ah well. Can't say I recognize your new set:

Here's more of the same song. Try for Title and Artist?!

                            Persecution you must bear
