                You should hear the Grover Washington Jr. version of Take Five. It pretty much keeps the essence of Dave Brubeck but modernizes it a bit for a really nice clean jazzy sound.

                Listening to Take Five makes me want to drive a convertible down to Makapuu on sunny Sunday morning. That's a cool cruzin' song.

                First time I heard Take Five was in 1972 when I ventured into Lafayette Radio Electronic's audio showroom on the corner of Young and McCully. On the LR-5000 Lafayette's best 4-channel receiver coupled with some Criterion 10-inch three way speaker systems.

                Talk about making an impression!
