    That would be the Shack.

Here's my favorite slogan, from a retail store, now gone but fondly remembered:

"If you don't know what you're looking for, you'll find it at _________________ ."
    Correct on The Shack.

Hint on your submitted slogan please. Got the retail part. Are they local, or a national chain? What type of retailer? Department store? Grocery? Hardware? Thanks!

"If you don't know what you're looking for, you'll find it at _________________."

This was a local store, with only one location in the islands.

They were asked to open stores in other Honolulu locations, but saw themselves as a plantation store, matched to the community they . . . cock-a-doodle-doo . . . were founded in in 1909.

Another slogan they used: "Only ten minutes from Hickam!"

Oh, that has to be ARAKAWA'S!

Mahalo for that interesting tidbit! Slogans from companies of Hawaii yesteryears are truly something great to remember.

        How about...
        Next Stop...
That one is more memorable from their tv ad campaigns, but it looks like their current slogan is actually
        Hawaii's Favorite Foods

        Who is that? Easy!

You are absolutely correct! That stop sign slogan artwork was simple yet effective. Next Stop... Zippy's. Love it. Here Islandrubes, have a virtual Chili Moco.

            O.K., next...
            Reinventing the "Burger Joint"

Hint: They have 3 locations on Oahu.

Finally, one I can get ...
                Teddy's Bigger Burgers.
(I remembered that from an earlier HT thread on burgers - who needs Google?)

So, who said, in their commercials: "Thank you ... (slightly longer than natural pause) ... very much."?

Correct! Which they truly have embodied with their restaurant. Never been in the Kailua location, but their Waikiki and Hawaii Kai locations have a nice balance of retro-meets-modern, with the menu kept simple. Love it.

                  Lex Brodie... I win! lol
Don't forget the caveman cartoon with the stone wheel and hammer at the end, "Tink, Tink, Tink".

O.K., those who remember that, should remember this one...

Go Now Hawaii! Why Pay More?!
hint: formerly a direct competitor to Lex Brodie's

I think the guy in the commercials was Malcolm Love.

Also: "Chance 'Um!" was Primo Beer, yeah?

                    So here you go:

Hooray, someone has lived in Hawaii longer than 3 years.

I put a slogan quiz in my book. Here are a couple good ones:

                            The Pulse of Paradise

                            And Away We go!

A note on the latter: I'm curious how many TV or radio ad catch phrases eventually become official company slogans (such as "That's/Das' My Bank > Bankoh) used for print and all other aspect of the business. Was Creative Holiday's "And Away We go!" an actual slogan that they adapted for TV and radio advertising? Or vice versa?
