For the clock it's been like that for the last 2 or 3 weeks now. As for thread linked it's until post #14 or so when this place get discussed.

Those surfboard doors are at the surf shop next to Club Rockza on Kapiolani Blvd. The store name escapes me now, but recently was in the news because the Outdoor Circle or someone said these comprise signage that is not in code. Does that look like a sign? I don't think so!
        I'm still here. Are you?

Nope. They're on the front door entrance to an establishment on Kalakaua Ave.. in Waikiki.

The flames tie in with something unique about them (and no, it isn't Hula's!). That's as much a hint as I'll give.

Roger that! On the corner of Kalakaua and Ohua st., right across the beach near the wall.

                    "Flame Broiled Surfboards"

When I seen that "BK Stacker" sign, I immediately thought of Helen.

Yeah, the board was tweaking a bit there. Grrr.

Speaking of "King", in sticking with the same whimsical themes and general area of the place I just posted previously (in Waikiki), where was this taken? The specific name of the business and location that it's at?....

                        The King!...

Roger that! EXACTLY the name and place...

For those unfamiliar, King's Village is located on the corner of Kaiulani and Koa street, right behind the Hyatt Regency and Spa in Waikiki.

In a recent photo hunt, Tikiyaki had mistaken Teddy's Bigger Burgers for this place, which has a similar "American retro" diner/drive-inn theme to it.

This is a really cool place, with a gift shop sporting an amazing display of classic American pop memorabilia, a retro-style restaurant in back and an ice cream parlor (like Farrells!) style stand on the side. Even the waitresses dress the part. Like Happy Days. If you're ever in Waikiki, at least walk in and browse.

The King's Village is an extremely photogenic location on the fringes of Waikiki. The only reason I recognized it right away is that I've spent many hours with a camera there. It's really a great place to take photos.

There's a cool King's Guard demonstration a few times a day; I have been there when they were practicing, and that was fascinating all by itself.

Waikiki as a whole is a photographer's paradise.

There's certainly no shortage of 3-dimensional artwork. Such as this...

                                And this...
