BAMP Project, Hawaii's premier concert production company presents the debut Hawaii performance of The Airborne Toxic Event live on Maui and Oahu January 20 - 21, 2012.
The five-piece indie rock outfit comprising of Mikel Jollett (vocals/ guitar/keyboards), Steven Chen (guitar/ keyboards), Noah Harmon (bass/backing vocals), Daren Taylor (drums) and Anna Bulbrook (viola/keyboards/tambourine/backing vocals) formed in 2006. Their critically acclaimed self-titled debut album in 2008 propelled them onto the world wide stage, selling hundreds of thousands of albums. Hit songs include "Wishing Well," "Gasoline" and "Sometime Around Midnight" which was named iTunes #1 alternative song of the year.
"All I Ever Wanted," the second single from the band's most recent album, All At Once, was released in May on Island/Def Jam to resounding praise. BBC called All At Once "a crushing classic," while SPIN called it "the rock'n'roll equivalent of a tear-soaked novella." The album's first anthemic single, "Changing," has experienced plenty of success, landing #4 on the Alternative Song charts. "All I Ever Wanted" has been #1 most added at Alternative and is climbing the charts currently.
