  • Ways to improve KRTR AM 650

I have been thinking about ways to improve KRTR AM 650. First, AM 650 sure could use jocks. That way, the station would have personality and thus be more fun to listen to. Second, AM 650 would be even more enjoyable if it had specialty programming such as Don Kennedy's "Big Band Jump", Sid Mark's "Sounds of Sinatra", and Sheriff Norm's "Long Lost Oldies" (assuming that the show will no longer be carried on KUMU AM 1500). IMO big band music can complement the easy listening favorites played on AM 650.

But jocks require paychecks, and AM radio isn't famous for high ad prices, so how would they afford jocks?

Ivan, Ivan... you got your easy listening station after all this time and now you want to change it already?

That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.
