FRANK B. Shaner has returned to morning radio, taking the mike yesterday at KUMU-FM 94.7/AM 1500.

The 5:30 to 9 a.m. Monday-to-Friday show means early to bed and way-early to rise for Shaner, who for more than eight years co-hosted the KINE-FM 105.1 morning show with Democrat leader Brickwood Galuteria. Shaner's new partner is KUMU veteran Mandy Suganuma.

Wow, that article revealed alot about his personal finances - and hardships? Then again, perhaps Erika was just trying to uncover the mystique revolving around Frank's hiatus from the public eye (and ear). Interesting read none-the-less.

Any chance they'll change KUMU into a Hawaiian format? It would be interesting to see Frank go head-to-head against Brick at KINE.

Anyhow, glad to know he's back. I'll check it out tomorrow morning.
