  • NPR and the Convention

NPR, of course, means "National Public Radio". So why isn't at least one of their local stations providing live coverage of the Democratic National Convention?

Maybe I should count my blessings, but I actually would have liked to have heard the Carter and Clinton speeches yesterday, not hear a thirty-second sound-bite and then two "media mavens" discussing it.

Having heard both of them on C-Span, you missed two dynamite speeches.

I don't know if NPR is providing gavel-to-gavel coverage, but you could e-mail Michael Titterton (hprgm@lava.net) to ask. He's always responded to me very quickly.
