Sorry to list him as "former". My bad.

I don't think this one has been mentioned before: Richard Borreca, longtime KHON and Star Bulletin political writer.

I don't know if this was mentioned, Ray Lovell (now of the Civil Defense Agency)

This past week's fall of the New York Mets reminded me of when the opposite happened for the 1969 amazing Mets. It was small kid time and my first recollection and understanding of baseball. A local tv station had sportscaster Bob Basso did comedic bits on the news during the amazing Mets comeback. It might have influenced Joe Moore to do his whacky antics at the end of the KGMB newscast as the sports guy.

Remember a locally produced medical insurance TV spot where this little boy is led into a UFO (back in the 80's)? That little boy was Chris Parsons' son.

Mid to late 80's, KITV's Leesa Clark, once married to the late Rap Reiplinger as I recall. She now has her own production company with her husband in Nashville.

Joe Moore has the longest run of anyone, but I'd dare say Paula Akana and Catherine Cruz would be runner-ups??

I think Denby Fawcett worked for KITV in the 1970's, but I dont believe she has continually worked there since then.

Here is an update on former KHNL anchors Heidi Umbhau and Vince Gerasole, now in the Windy City. Though I think it's safe to say their kids are now the stars:

Dan Cooke, Heidi Umbhau and Robert Kekaula were the first KHNL newsteam when it was launched 12 years ago.

Affirmative. She even had a brief cameo from California on video with Governor Lingle, err...I mean as played by Dan Cooke on the recent Gridiron show.
