Do you mean the Hawaiiana Hotel (link and 2nd hand review in post #2 above) or the Hilton Hawaiian Village (link immediately above)? Did you visit Hawaii in April as originally planned? Just curious!

I think you need to first define what "inexpensive" means to you! In the meantime, take at look at:

I had an acquaintance who stayed there yearly for many years and loved it. And, it's close to everything in Waikiki. It's inexpensive by Waikiki standards.

Aloha all. I am a newcomer to this forum. My fiancee and I are planning a trip to Hawaii at the end of April 2006. This will be his first trip to the islands and my third. We are visiting Honolulu this time and we are searching for inexpensive yet decent lodging. Can anyone give us some leads?
