    I can't believe I didn't catch this when he said it, but Cheney apparently flubbed the domain name of a relatively objective academic resource on politics, factcheck.org, and instead told people to go to factcheck.com.

    Well, the folks who owned the .com pointed all visitors to that domain name to georgesoros.com, which declares in bold type, "Why We Must Not Re-Elect President Bush."

    Fortunately, Soros and company are playing nice, and pointing people to the right destination. But I doubt they really mind the extra traffic.

        D'oh! How did I miss that? Must've been too caught up in the flurry of liveblogging and instant commentary. I like how the Annenberg site, where Cheney meant to sent the point-and-click masses, subtitles their post-VP debate analysis, "Getting it wrong about combat pay, Halliburton, and FactCheck.org."
