It's now a daily 'death by a thousand cuts' scenario. All self inflicted by the right.
The swing voters are now mostly going left or staying home with many republicans on voting day, while Dems and other smarties are coming in from the furthest reaches of the universe to get their vote in for the most important election in many of our lives.

To make it even worse, she has a 2nd deposition concerning TrooperGate this Friday. It'll be interesting how she'll try to head this one off, and the verdict.

Somebody in the last 450+ posts (or maybe it was in the other election thread) correctly wrote that Jon Stewart's "The Daily Show" (on Comedy Central, no less!) does a far better fact-digging job than most of the mainstream media. Today's episode proves it, once again.
Anybody know if there are links so others can see it?

The Republican National Committee purchases $150,000 clothes for Palin. Could that money have been better spent getting a family out of a homeless shelter?

Not to mention some sorely needed good PR.

Oh, barf. And the article says that the clothing was going to be donated. After being worn only once? Donated to who - her daughters? Her friends? I can see it now - homeless people looking fabulous in garish pantssuits!
IMO Palin looks just the same, whether she's wearing WalMart pullovers and Walgreens makeup (just like the 'regular Americans' that she tries to appeal to) as she does wearing Nordstrom duds and MAC makeup.
              Puhhhhhleeeeeease!!

That $150K shopping spree at Sak's and Neiman Marcus was legal, because it was funded by the RNC rather than McCain/Palin campaign money. Still, it was a stupid P.R. misstep and yet another day's worth of the McCain campaign going off-message when only 13 days remain until election day.

Moving on to matters of substance,....

Gov. Palin obviously does not know the Constitutional powers given to the VP. Being "in charge of the United States senate?" Has this lady even read the constitution? Maybe not,...

At least she didn't say "getting to drive the president's car in a motorcade and play with the siren!".
