A brief recollection of History- Our founding fathers fled Europe because of the tyranny of Aristocracy. Europe was ruled by the rich, who were very cruel to everyone below them. This is why the French Revolution occurred. The people had enough and fought back. History proves over and over again that whenever you put power into the hands of a select few, they are very evil. Just ask the North Koreans, the Communist Chinese, the Cambodians, North Vietnamese, Cubans, etc. The people are heavily oppressed and are killed if they so much as say or do anything against their leaders/government. You can't even go to church without risk of death or imprisonment. In these countries, prisoners don't just sit around watching t.v., they're tortured, starved, beatened, raped, etc, that is if they're not sent to the quarry to make gravel with a sledgehammer all day. They call this "re-education". That's tyranny. This is the the end result of socialism.
Our founding fathers fled that and specifically drafted the Constitution to put the power back into the hands of the people. This is why we have freedom of speech, the right to bare arms, the right to representation, etc. Under a Socialist government, you don't have any rights. Period!
What our Presidents have done in the last few decades is hijack the Constitution to put the power back into the hands of government, which is controlled by the global elite. Obama has surpassed any prior President in doing so. This comes as absolutely no surprise, as many of his associates and supporters are proclaimed Marxists, like William Ayers. Many of his cabinet members are Marxists as well. Is it any surprise that Obama's cabinet members are referred to as Czars in the mainstream media?

Re: The March to Socialism
FYI Bob:
socialism:
An economic system in which the production and distribution of goods are controlled substantially by the government rather than by private enterprise, and in which cooperation rather than competition guides economic activity. There are many varieties of socialism. Some socialists tolerate capitalism, as long as the government maintains the dominant influence over the economy; others insist on an abolition of private enterprise. All communists are socialists, but not all socialists are communists.
