Ever since our Christmas tree went up next to our living room window, I haven't seen the Jehova's Witnesses come by lately.
I used to joke to my co-workers at Home Depot every year we sell Christmas trees (which is a dirty job getting all muddy from Oregon adobe dirt and soaking wet because we gotta keep them moist so they won't dry out), I tell them to become Jehova's Witnesses from Black Friday until December 24th.
That way when the posting goes up in the break room as to who will be working the tree lot and your name is on it, you can claim religious indifference and cannot sell something against your religion.
It's also a great way to go cheap this Christmas too.
