Tis best I own up to it. With the Russian lesson my twisted sense of humor found inspiration. Lei picked up on it, and together we cheerily took Yeltsin's ashes and headed straight for Neptune.

And that, my friends, is how to kill off a thread.

Okay, I can't believe I'm actually admitting this, but I thought he already died.

      Ay yi yi.
      Tessie, "Nuf Ced" McGreevey shouted
We're not here to mess around
Boston, you know we love you madly
Hear the crowd roar to your sound
Don't blame us if we ever doubt you
You know we couldn't live without you
Tessie, you are the only only only

        ...I take that back.

The Other Lei™ gets the dubious honor of killing it.

I used the indent tag around your spoiler tag. You are more than welcome to try it out in this thread.

            Good lord.

And I thought my mind went off on twisted spirals.

I concede: the drugs of your respective youths were better than mine. Or at least had more long-lasting effects.

Thirty years since my last of four semesters of the language together next to never using speaking or reading including now, I will only venture to say (in American English) that Yeltsin "leading" Russia compared to Gorbachev leading Russia was/is similar to Bush leading the United States compared to Carter leading the United States, except for the fact that the comparison does a disservice to Yeltsin in that he did not permanently handicap Russia any where near the way Bush has the United States.
