Well, I have 3 boys, 6 yrs, 4 yrs, and one that is due here anyday now!

The 6 year old is Kai. Named after one of my family's Hawaiian surnames - Kaina. Here he is at L&L, he loves his chicken katsu.



The 4 year old is Keanu. Named after his Great-Great Uncle Keanu. As you can tell, I like family names.

And a picture of the baby who is going to get an eviction notice soon! Who has a name that won't be shared until after birth, as it should be.

Where to take a 2 year old?

What would you recommend to do on Oahu if you had a 2 year old?

Easy enough question?

I'd like to hear the best options.... and the free ones are always the best.... however, I will always pay the price to make sure my son is happy.

You don't have to be a parent to respond to this... I'd like to hear all opinions.

the annual pass at the honolulu zoo is unbelievably cheap so that's a no brainer. besides the animals, they've got all kinds of events throughout the year:

Bishop Museum has a family pass for $40..its worth it if you have grandparents in the household as it includes everyone in the same household.. so like granparents, parents, and your keikis...

And to complete the standard three places in Honolulu to take your kids, there's also the Waikiki Aquarium. Always a welcome cool shady place in the summertime.
